tarm 2.5 (ShowNET)

The tarm 2.5 show laser projector is a full color whitelight RGB laser systems with full analog color modulation and diode-only equipment. The guaranteed output power is specified at 2'700 mW after optics.

The tarm 2.5 (ShowNET) units have a built-in network DAC for Showcontroller and Showeditor, but also can be controlled with any ILDA laser control software such as Pangolin Quickshow, Pangolin Beyond, LSX, Lasergraph DSP, etc. via external ILDA interface (e.g. FB3). They also have a built-in memory with pre-set patterns, that can be easily triggered through DMX, automatic mode.
The tarm 2.5 (ShowNET) comes with integrated ShowNET network interface and free laser show software. Details in the box below.

The tarm two laser has great beam specifications with a diameter of ca. 3.5 mm and a beam divergence of approx. 0.9 mrad (full angle).
It is equipped with a bright red (750 mW / 638 nm), a green (700 mW / 520 nm), and a blue (1'500 mW / 450 nm) diode laser source.

The scanners are very fast with 45 kpps@8° ILDA standard and allow for a maximum scan angle of 45° (@30 kpps). Thus they are well graphics capable and suitable for professional laser applications.
Optionally as upgrade available: CT-6210H scanners incl. LAS Turboscan driver with 60 kpps@8° ILDA and a max. scan angle of 60° (@35 kpps).

This show laser light has a switchable scan safety and switches for x-axis and y-axis flip. Color intensity can be adjusted with trim pots per color channel.

The housing of the tarm 2.5 is built very rugged and in a dust-proof way, so there is no air circulation inside the enclosure. This reduces maintenance efforts to a minimum.
The mounting bracket allows for hanging and for upright mounting of the laser system.

The tarm 2.5 is especially suitable for show laser applications in clubs and bars and can be used by beginners as well as professionals.

Start with your own professional laser show thanks to the intuitive Showeditor laser show software which comes with every new tarm 2.5 (ShowNET) for free. The Showcontroller software is supported as well and can be purchased additionally.
The integrated ShowNET allows for direct input through ILDA and LAN. Besides DMX, it is possible to trigger single frames via ArtNet. You can play custom frames and shows from an integrated SD card (included in delivery) – even in stand-alone mode!
There are two different DMX modes:
(1) DJ Mode with the most used features for beginners. Only a few DMX channels are used for a quick and easy access to the most important adjustments directly at the laser system.
(2) Professional Mode with all DMX features especially for users with a DMX console. All adjustments can be triggered and allow for full control of the professional laser show.
The integrated ShowNET works as DAC (digital to analog converter) and enables ILDA streaming.

Pangolin FB4 Quickshow 'Max':

The tarm 2.5 FB4 show laser has an integrated Pangolin FB4 interface. The Pangolin FB4 is a network interface, which runs with Pangolin Quickshow or Pangolin BEYOND software (available as separate upgrade license). Pangolin Quickshow is already included. There is no need anymore to using ILDA cables to connect the show laser to the control computer.

Features of Pangolin FB4 Quickshow 'Max' are:

Just connect a network cable (CAT5) from your computer, running Pangolin Quickshow (free software download on pangolin.com), to the network port of the Pangolin FB4.

For DMX512 control:

Just connect a DMX512 cable (XLR 5pin) from your DMX console or DMX interface to the DMX IN connector of the Pangolin FB4.

With SD-memory:

Create content in Pangolin software and then export this content to the onboard SD-memory (included in delivery). It is possible to playback the content from the SD-memory automatically, without the need for a computer.

RTI Cocoon Climate Housing

There are areas, where a perfect operating temperature for laser systems cannot be ensured, particularly very hot environments can cause problems. The RTI Cocoon Climate Housing is designed to use different laser systems in such areas. It is equipped with a climate control system, that is able to cool as well as to heat the laser system. Thus it ensures a stable operating temperature.

The system is composed of two components (as conventional air conditioning units): the actual climate housing and an external condenser/compressor unit. The housing is sealed dust- and waterproof according to IP65, the external condenser and compressor unit, at the other hand, is IP54. Therefore it has to be shielded from direct, lasting rainfall and high humidity. The Climate Housing is supplied with a 3m coolant hose. On request, it is also possible to place the condenser unit further from the housing.

With a power consumption at 1,150W and a cooling power of 12,000BTU, the Cocoon is able to pump 3,590W of heat. Operating temperature ranges from -15°C to +50°C. Weight: 55kg.

It must be mounted on a support system (metal plate, concrete base, or similar). Through its mounting bracket the particular laser device is fixed inside the housing.

tarm G5 HD

The tarm G5 HD show laser projector fulfills highest requirements in terms of brightness, beam divergence and accuracy and offers a guaranteed output power of 4'500mW. The benefits include:

The laser projector is equipped with a Coherent Taipan OPSL HD (High Definition) laser module: 5'000mW / 530nm OPSL HD. Other OPSL setups are also available on request.

The tarm G5 HD standard comes with very fast scanners at a scan speed of 45kpps@8° ILDA for professional graphics projections. Optionally this laser system is also available with even faster CT-6210H scanners incl. LAS Turboscan drivers.

This tarm show laser system is equipped with a Coherent OPSL HD laser module with TEM00 beam profile (TEM = Transverse electromagnetic mode) . At TEM00 the brightness of the beam spot is homogenously distributed in a Gaussian curve, so the spot is perfectly round and has no deviances due to wave interferences.
Besides that, the tarm HD has an extremely low beam divergence of only <0.5 mrad and a low beam diameter of only 2.7 mm.
This results in an extremely increase of brightness in comparison to 'conventional' OPSL laser modules and especially in comparison to diode laser sources. The excellent beam specifications make this laser system ideal for graphics and long distance projections, but also for beam effects, which shall be visible from far away.

The tarm HD G5 is controlled via ILDA and is equipped with a newly developed electronics with calibration capability via a browser interface. tarm HD RGB

The tarm HD RGB show laser projector fulfills highest requirements in terms of brightness, beam divergence and accuracy and offers a guaranteed output power of 9 W. The benefits include:

The laser projector is equipped with Coherent Taipan OPSL HD (High Definition) laser modules: 2'500 W / 639 nm OPSL HD, 5'000 W / 530 nm OPSL HD, 2'000 W / 460 nm OPSL HD. Other OPSL setups are also available on request

The tarm HD RGB standard comes with very fast CT-6210H scanners and LAS Turboscan drivers. The scan speed of 60 kpps@8° ILDA and a maximum scan angle of 60° make the system suitable for any kind of application. Optionally this laser system is also available with EMS-8000 Digital scanners and LD optics.

This tarm show laser system is equipped with Coherent Taipan OPSL and with the newly developed Coherent HD OPSL laser modules with TEM00 beam profile (TEM = Transverse electromagnetic mode) . At TEM00 the brightness of the beam spot is homogenously distriburted in a Gaussian curve, so the spot is perfectly round and has no deviances due to wave interferences.
Besides that, the tarm HD has an extremely low beam divergence: with CT-6210H scanners and standard optics: ca. 0.5 mrad or optional with EMS-8000 Digital scanners and low divergence optics: <0.25 mrad (TEM00).

This results in an extremely increase of brightness in comparison to 'conventional' OPSL laser modules and especially in comparison to diode laser sources. The excellent beam specifications make this laser system ideal for graphics and long distance projections, but also for beam effects, which shall be visible from far away.
